Crafted for Good Word Agency, this brand identity began with a deep dive into their ethos: purposeful storytelling, strategic clarity, and creative collaboration. Early conversations pointed to the quill as a powerful symbol, representing not only the craft of writing but also the guidance of a North Star. That insight became the foundation for a visual language centered around direction, movement, and precision.
Execution
The logo mark is built from converging quill shapes, forming a sleek symbol that balances elegance and meaning. These motifs carry through the brand system, expanding into large abstract forms, forward arrows, and star-inspired visuals that support everything from digital content to presentations. The wordmark itself is custom-designed, weaving in subtle flourishes that echo the quill’s motion to create cohesion and flow.
By reusing and reinterpreting the logo’s core geometry, the system creates visual continuity across digital content, presentations, and marketing materials. Nothing is introduced without purpose; every element traces back to the mark, strengthening recognition and cohesion. The custom wordmark further supports this approach, incorporating subtle flourishes that mirror the quill’s motion, adding flow and refinement without distracting from clarity.
Typography, color, and layout were all approached through a strategic lens using Cabinet Grotesk for its distinctive character, paired with a palette of indigo, rust, bronze, teal, and deep blue to add warmth and depth across brand touchpoints. This was a brand built not just to look polished, but to feel aligned with the agency’s mission, process, and voice.
